Bypass refers to the trading name under which Digimark Limited provides services tailored to owners of short-term rental accommodation who wish to improve their direct bookings and online presence.

Digimark Limited is a New Zealand registered company (NZBN: 9429043410125) that owns and operates Bypass as a business initiative. All services delivered under the Bypass brand are legally provided by Digimark Limited.

All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms are 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Website and email hosting, domain registration, and other recurring services are billed annually or monthly in advance.

Automatic payments or recurring billing can be set up and are encouraged to ensure continuity of service.

You may cancel ongoing services (such as hosting or support plans) at any time by providing a minimum of one month’s written notice.

Bypass (Digimark Limited) reserves the right to terminate services immediately in the case of non-payment, breach of terms, or if the relationship becomes untenable.

We do our best to deliver reliable, secure, and effective services. However, we are not liable for:

Any loss or damage resulting from website downtime, service interruptions, or third-party failures.

Any issues resulting from malware or security breaches. We maintain daily backups of websites for 30 days and email data for 5 days. Clients are responsible for any backups beyond these periods.

For clients who opt-in to Site Scanner (a malware monitoring and alert service), please note that it provides monitoring and alerting only and does not prevent malware or guarantee protection.

Standard support includes access to email support and minor updates within the scope of a maintenance plan.

More significant updates or development tasks will be quoted separately.

Hosting is provided via reputable third-party providers. We manage this on your behalf and act as the intermediary between you and the host.

Email hosting is also provided via third-party systems. We support IMAP access and basic troubleshooting.

Bypass services are provided by Digimark Limited. The following outlines our approach to backups and website security for all Bypass-hosted websites and email services.

Backups
We perform daily backups of all websites hosted under the Bypass service and retain those backups for 30 days. For email accounts hosted on our servers, backups are also performed daily and retained for up to 7 days. These backups are maintained strictly for disaster recovery purposes and are not intended to replace client-side data management or archival practices.

Security and Liability
While Digimark Limited takes reasonable precautions to maintain a secure hosting environment for Bypass clients, we cannot guarantee that your website or email will remain free from malware, hacking, or other forms of cyber intrusion. Digimark Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or disruption—direct or indirect—arising from such events.

Optional Site Scanner
Clients who opt in to the Site Scanner service benefit from automated scans and alerts to identify potential malware. This service is designed to assist with early detection but does not offer guaranteed prevention or removal of threats.
