At bypass, we take care of everything you need to get your short-term rental business online – and that starts with a good domain name.

We help you choose the right name, register it for you, and manage it on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about renewals, technical setup, or losing access later on.

We register your domain in your name – and manage the rest

We use 1st Domains as our trusted domain registrar. We’ve worked with them for over 10 years and continue to choose them because:

• They support nearly every domain name extension you might want
• They offer excellent local support
• We receive bulk discounts – which we pass on to you

When we register your domain, we list you as the official owner – so you retain full rights to it. We remain as the technical and billing contact, so we can manage everything behind the scenes.

Renewals made easy

Domains are registered for 12 months at a time. Around 30 days before renewal, we’ll be in touch to check whether you’d like to renew. If you give us the go-ahead, we’ll take care of it for you – simple as that.

Want to register for longer and lock in current pricing? We can register domains for up to 9 years if you prefer.

Transparent pricing

Our domain pricing:

• .nz domains – $37.50 NZD per year
• .com domains – $35.50 NZD per year

We charge a $25 annual fee to manage domain renewals and updates on your behalf — but this fee is waived in the first year of your Essentials plan, and waived forever on Pro and Premium plans.

Let us take care of the domain side of things, so you can focus on getting more bookings.
